Use Simulator Pre for Agenda Fusion 7.xx belongs to a new breed of user guides. It is very visual. Its information is organized in such a way as to answer two kinds of questions:

• How to do ...?

Using visuals, Use Simulator explains everything that you see on AF screen. For instance, you may ask yourself, What is this button for?

To answer it, you can open the same Agenda Fusion view in Use Simulator, place the mouse over the button, and read the displayed explanation. Most likely, you will move the mouse over other parts of the screen after that, just out of curiosity. It is like clicking around and getting to know the thing.

You can find all the answers for yourself. Very quickly.

When you know what's what on screen, you want to use it well. For instance, you heard that Agenda Fusion supports Projects. Simple as it is, you still have to know how to create a project, and then how to work with it.

We all know from experience how frustrating it may be to get stuck with a program and not to know what to do next. And how simple and easy it usually turns out to be after a kind soul shows us how to do it. That is what the second part of the Use Simulator does, it shows and explains how to use the program.

Interestingly, with all the emphasis on action and hands-on experience, people seem to forget that observation comes before any meaningful action.

The underlying concept of Use Simulators is "Learn by observation". But it is not only passive observation. At first, you will probably just watch an animation. Then, if it is a complex action, you are in control to choose what details to focus on, or you can pause the demonstration, step back, and repeat short pieces as many times as you need. At some point, observation turns to hands-on action.
